ACF-driven accordion with a synced Slick image carousel, plus the team carousel initializer for one client's Betheme child theme. A rewrite of the older nsu-accordion plugin. Published here so the site it was built for can update it like any other plugin; it is site-specific and not a general-purpose accordion.

Features

• Renders the ACF repeater field accordion of the current post (sub-fields title, content, image) as an accordion with a synced Slick slide per item.
• Assets load only on pages that use the shortcodes, with a fallback that loads them the moment a shortcode renders (covers page-builder content stored in postmeta).
• Also initialises the child theme's .team-carousel markup.
• Returns an empty string instead of a fatal error when ACF or the repeater add-on is missing.

Install

1. Download the zip above.
2. In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, and upload it.
3. Activate WS Accordion from the Plugins screen.

Updates are self-hosted: the plugin reads its Update URI header and checks https://websqu.ad/updates/ws-accordion.json. New versions show up in the standard WordPress updates screen.

Shortcodes

• [ws_accordion] — renders the accordion for the current post.
• [nsu_accordion] — legacy alias with identical output, kept for existing builder content.

Known limits

Deactivating the plugin also disables the child theme's team carousel, and the CSS class names (.accordion-container, .accordion, .slick-container, .slick-accordion, .team-carousel) are shared with the theme and must not be renamed.
