EU Directive (EU) 2023/2673 compliant withdrawal button for WooCommerce. The Modernisation Directive requires traders that let consumers conclude contracts online to provide an easily accessible "withdraw from contract here" button plus a confirmation step. This plugin implements the button, the confirmation flow and a record of each request, with an automatic confirmation email.

Features

• Withdrawal button rendered automatically on the order-received / thank-you page, the order details page under My Account, and customer order emails (processing, completed, on-hold).
• Two-step flow — step 1 the customer confirms name, order reference and email (pre-filled from the order), with an optional GDPR consent checkbox; step 2 reviews and confirms.
• Confirmation email to the customer through WooCommerce's email system including the withdrawal content and the date and time of submission; optional admin notification.
• Withdrawal window — the button is only shown for a configurable number of days after the order (EU default 14).

Install

1. Download the zip above.
2. In WordPress go to Plugins, Add New, Upload Plugin, and upload it.
3. Activate WS Withdrawal from the Plugins screen.

Updates are self-hosted: the plugin reads its Update URI header and checks https://websqu.ad/updates/ws-withdrawal.json. New versions show up in the standard WordPress updates screen.

Setup

1. Create a WordPress page (e.g. "Withdraw from contract") containing the shortcode [ws_withdrawal_form].
2. Go to Withdrawals, Settings and select that page under Withdrawal form page (if none is selected the homepage is used as fallback).
3. Review the remaining settings: withdrawal window, admin notification address, GDPR checkbox, colours.
4. On activation the plugin creates its database table and default options.
